Top Ten Tuesdays: Is a weekly meme feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where bloggers post their Top 10 List for an assigned topic! I will not be participating every week, but I will occasionally take a shot at it! You can always find these lists (past, present and original) on my Riffle Page
This Week’s Topic:
Top Ten Finished series I have to finish
Coincidentally, I have had these ten series on my list for a completely different reason. A few monthly inventories ago, I decided to do what I call a Trilogy Termination personal challenge.
When your blog focuses on book series, you pay a little more attention to what series you’ve finished and haven’t than most people. And so I realized that I have a lot of trilogy series that I’ve read the first two books for but haven’t read the finale for. Which irks me a little because those are a) things I have left unfinished and b) some could be brand new reviews for the blog!
My official post for this challenge will hopefully come within the next month and a half along with the reviews.
Here are the Finished Trilogies I Have Yet to Finished (in no particular order):
(Yes, I know that there are 11 here but this is for flexibility for my Trilogy Termination blitz!)
Do we share some series?
Leave a Link to your TTT in the comments below!
We don’t have the same lists, haha. I used to finish every serie I started but now… Not really. It’s hard for me now of I didn’t rate the first book at least four stars: I feel there is no point in continuing if I had mix thoughts about a serie. I know I can be wrong, because sometimes it gets so much better with time. Good luck to you for finishing these trilogies!

That’s probably a smart thing! I know it would save me a lot of time by not continuing 😛
Most of these series I really enjoyed, I just forgot about the release date for the finales (probably because I read the 2nd book shortly after it was published and then had to wait a year or more) or didn’t have a copy readily available.
In some cases, I just really need to know how it all ends even if I didn’t enjoy the series!
I’ve never read any of these, but they look interesting which means I may be adding to my TBR as soon as I finish this comment lol. I am a TOTAL series person though, so you’ve just gained a new follower!

Series are the best! Some of these ones are great so I do recommend them! Thanks for reading!
I’m the exact same way! For some reason, I love to read the first two books of a trilogy and not the last. What’s up with that?? With the Supernaturally series, though, I’ve only read the first. I should finish that one since I enjoyed the first book. Thanks for the reminder.
Happy TTT!

It’s weird isn’t it? I know for me it’s just a simple case of forgetting that the next book was released 😛
I hope you get a chance to finish Supernaturally 🙂
I won’t tattle about the 11th one 😉 My TTT
haha thank you!
I won’t be finishing the Chemical Garden trilogy after the horrible second book.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who didn’t enjoy the second novel! I thought it was because it had been so long since I read the first but I thought it was really boring! I’m going to attempt to reread the first two because it has been so long before I read the finale but the 2nd book has me a little worried!
The forever song was sooo good! I really loved that trilogy.
I’m glad to hear that! I didn’t really enjoy the second book that much 🙁 I’m hoping the Forever Song will renew my faith in the series!
Interesting choices, Lauren! I finished the Crusade trilogy. I can’t really remember much from the trilogy though. And whoa, that Kirsten White trilogy is so old (it may just be a couple of years now that I think about it)! I actually remember really liking Paranormalcy but it’s been a long time with that one too. And the Chemical Garden trilogy is one I’d like to start someday, the covers are so odd but pretty at the same time!
haha I can’t remember much from the Crusade Trilogy either 😛 It’s been so long, same with Paranormalcy! They were both series I started years ago and completely forgot about
