Top Ten Tuesdays: Is a weekly meme feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where bloggers post their Top 10 List for an assigned topic! I will not be participating every week, but I will occasionally take a shot at it! You can always find these lists (past, present and original) on my Riffle Page.
This Week’s Topic:
Top Ten books I’ve added to my tbr thanks to other blogs
Last time we had this question, I listed the most recent freebie books I had picked up. This time, I decided to put a cool spin on the TTT for this week by picking books that I found specifically by reading other blogs! I have a shelf on Goodreads that I label books I found via reading blogger reviews. It started to grow so much that I decided that I had to keep track of where I was specifically finding them. Now, when I do read them, I can remember where I found the book!
Here are the books I found via other blogs (in no particular order):
- The Hesitant Heiress from Carrie @ Reading is my Super Power
- Give Me Yesterday from NerdyBirdy @ Daydreaming Books
- The Girl with the Wrong Name from Candid Cover
- The Imposer Queen from Alice @ Arctic Books
- Everything Everything from Becca @ Becca and Books
- Firsts from Kaitlin @ Next Page Please
- Frostfire from Erin @ Reading With Wrin
- Uglies — This one is unique because I was email recommended this by many followers!
- Air Awakens from Jess @ Princessica of Books
- Hotel Ruby from Marie @ Drizzle and Hurricane Books
Honourable Mentions:
These are some ones that I don’t remember where I found them from!
- The Collector’s Society by Heather Lyons
- The Royal We by Heather Cocks
- Velvet Undercover by Teri Brown
What books have you found and added from other blogs?

I like the spin you put on your TTT! I loved Everything, Everything! It was so unique and just plain awesome. Hopefully you enjoy it!
Thank you! I simply adore the cover for it but I was a little skeptical of its plot. But I’m glad so many people seem to enjoy its uniqueness–makes me want to read it even more!
I borrowed Uglies from my friend at work. Maybe I should finally get around to reading it… hmm.
LOL…might be a good idea! I’ve seen it around for years but completely forgot about the series!
what a great idea for today’s post!! And thanks for the mention 😀 My TTT
Thank you! And no problem! I’m really excited to read that one thanks to you!
yay! Can’t wait to hear what you think of it 🙂
Yay! I hope you really enjoy Everything, Everything when you get around to it, it makes me so happy when lovely people like you read the books I review!
Thanks for stopping by! I’m really excited to get my hands on a copy!
I love your idea! I’m glad that you wanted to add Hotel Ruby to your TBR thanks to my blog! 🙂 I still need to read Everything, Everything, and YOU NEED TO READ UGLIES because it is SO GOOD!! 😀
Thank you! I’m super excited for Hotel Ruby (everytime I see that cover I want to pick it up ASAP!).
Good to know about Uglies! I’ve only heard good things!
Awwww!! I am so glad that you added a book based on one of my recommendations!! <3
No problem! It was a great review 🙂
I was interested in Everything Everything from other blogs as well 🙂 Plus I read Uglies years and years ago and didn’t like it that much… I know I read the second book but I didn’t remember a single thing from it. Never gotten round to reading the third one. I didn’t do a TTT this week but I did make a post about my 2015 TBR which you can check out here 🙂
Yes! Everything Everything was everwhere for quite a while!
Shame about Uglies 🙁 I’ve heard good things but I guess I will have to wait and see!
I have the uglies on my shelf as well. I hope to read it this year!
Thank you for the honorable mention as well.
Hopefully we can get to read it this year!
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
I think there are a lot of mixed reviews when Uglies was released but I loved it as a preteen. Even more than the Hunger Games (the books kind of digressed in that trilogy for me). And hope you enjoy Everything, Everything. That was really enjoyable for me.
I think I read the Hunger Games so quick that they all just blend together. But looking back, I would agree that they lose some of their appeal as the series progressed.
I think some friends read Uglies but I don’t even remember!
What a cool idea linking back to blogs that got you interested in a new book! I’ve got so many new books I want to read now just from reading all these TTT posts. Lol. My TBR list is overflowing. 😀
My TTT
Tuesdays but a serious damper on my TBR list. Between new releases, my library adding new books and TTT, I add WAY TOO MANY BOOKS!
Also really interested in The Collector’s Society. 🙂
It’s such a cool premise! I hope we both get to read it soon!
This is a really interesting collection – so I’ve just spent time goodreads searching quite a number of these! RE Everything Everything, I’ve heard wonderful things about it too and I certainly plan to try to read it this year. 🙂
It’s a wide variety of books for sure! I think a lot of these I probably wouldn’t have picked up or known about if it wasn’t for these reviews–so kudos to them!
Definitely!
