Tag it Thursdays: The Emoji Book Tag

tagitthurs
Tag it Thursdays: I occasionally get tagged by fellow bloggers to complete various tags. Once a month I will post my response. Please, feel free to tag yourself if any of these tags interest you!

This month’s tag:

The Emoji Book Tag

The rules are pretty simple. It’s just about pairing up the most used or recently used emoji with a book.

I was tagged by Jessi @ Princessica of Books in October to do this tag. It was actually harder than I thought because I don’t really use Emoji’s per say. BUT, I do use the Minion Stickers on Facebook Messenger a lot so I’m going to use those for the purpose of this tag.

minionKICK

The “I Wanna Kick Your BUM” Minion

For this one, I’m picking two characters I want to knock some sense into. I actually have a list of heroines I can’t stand on my Top Picks page and a few appropriate tags. But for this one, I’m going to pick a pair of leads for this meme instead of picking on a lady. Can you guess who? How about Evie and Jack from the Arcana Chronicles? Both are equally annoying and do many questionable things, making it very frustrating to read about them…

minionLOVE

The “How You Doin'” Minion

I’m going to pick my newest book boyfriends: Kai from the Lunar Chronicles and Nicholas from Passenger. It’s hard to choose between these two because I read them both so close together. Kai is so sweet and, understandably, charming. As for Nicholas, he’s a PIRATE! I don’t think I need to elaborate on that but he is also completely swoon worthy <3

minionSCREAM

The “OMG” Minion

For this one, I’m picking a book that kept me on the edge of my seat going: excuse me? No, that cannot be happening! And that book is November 9 by Colleen Hoover. There were so many “OMG NO!” *headshake* moments throughout that book.

minionSHHH

The “Shhh, Don’t Tell” Minion

I suppose it isn’t much of a secret for those who have read my previous tags but I’ve never finished a single Harry Potter novel–and an even bigger secret is that I probably never will.

Perhaps another secret is that I’m not even sure what that minion is supposed to be doing. Is it a sexy pose or is he shhing someone? I just don’t know.

minionWTF

The “WTF” or “Huh?” Minion

I enjoy LOVE the occasional “mindf*ck” novel and in 2015 the ultimate WTF series was Nocte by Courtney Cole. Just when I would think that I had a handle on things, I would get totally blindsided. So much fun even if my brain hurt.

Thanks again Jess!
